Mike is a founder and Managing Partner at Artistry Restaurants and is primarily responsible for identifying, negotiating, and closing acquisition and partnership opportunities and overseeing Artistry’s finance and accounting practices. Mike also founded and serves as President of Triloma Financial Group, a private investment firm affiliated with Artistry.
Before founding Artistry and Triloma, Mike served as Executive Vice President of Tavistock Group, where he helped create and launch Tavistock Restaurants. Mike was responsible for negotiating, structuring, and closing restaurant acquisitions. He also served as Chief Operating Officer of Tavistock Capital Group, a distressed asset acquisition group formed following the Great Recession.
Before Tavistock, Mike served as an executive officer at CNL Financial Group. Mike was the Chief Operating Officer of CNL Restaurant Properties, which was responsible for $1.4 billion in real estate investments. He also represented eighteen CNL Income Funds in a $2.5 billion merger with publicly-traded U.S. Restaurant Properties.
Mike received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mike has been married to his wife, Linda, for 35 years and has two daughters. Mike loves water sports, reading legal thrillers, watching Carolina Tarheels basketball, and spending time with his family.
