Driven by innovation, Steven later founded his own consulting firm, creating locally inspired menus for breweries and restaurants. In 2019, he joined Hickory Tavern, advancing to Executive Chef. A defining moment came when he partnered with Chef Cliff Pleau and Pam Smith, RDN, to lead a comprehensive menu overhaul—transforming the guest experience across the brand.
