Jason Brooks serves as Chief Operating Officer and Partner of Artistry Restaurants. Jason leads all aspects of operations for all Artistry brands and restaurants.
Before joining Artistry, Jason demonstrated a strong history of growth with multiple successful restaurant brands. Jason worked his way up from hourly server to Vice President of Operations for Outback Steakhouse over the course of a 25-year career, honored with the “Outbacker of the Year” award for a lifetime of achievements with Bloomin Brands. Jason then went on to become Chief Operating Officer for Zalat Pizza, driving exponential growth through Covid, recognized by Nation’s Restaurant News as one of America’s Top 5 Hot Concepts. Jason recently partnered with L. Catterton to revitalize Uncle Julio’s Restaurant Group, Hacienda Colorado and Savage Burrito.
Jason believes culture is everything, and truly prioritizes living out personal and professional values with each and every person he encounters. He has a passion for developing other leaders, and believes there is nothing more gratifying than helping other leaders rise higher. Jason believes there is no other industry better than the hospitality industry to provide career pathways for growth and advancement. Where else can a server and cook ultimately have a chair in the C-suite?
Jason attended Wichita State University where he studied Integrated Marketing, PR and Communications. Jason has been married to his beautiful wife Melissa for over 20 years and has two children Jackson and Jaycee. He loves spending time with his family, reading, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football!
